First info on version 2.1

Postby noisy » 21 Feb 2010, 18:39

Shortly after the first 2.0 beta release I already started working on version 2.1. Here is a list of v2.1 features I have already partially or completely implemented:

  • On playback show text messages or play wave files at defined positions
  • Automatically save a flight (.FLT) file when recording is started, and automatically load it on playback
  • Option to restore the situation before playback when playback ends
  • Dialog to configure autoplay (currently only possible by editing FSRecorder.ini)
  • Added position offset to advanced play options
  • Recording and playback of date and time
  • Recording of mach speed
  • Fly by mode for spot cameras
  • Moving camera focus point for tower/spot cameras
  • Mouse panning and mouse wheel zoom

waw noisy its a great news
i'm really impatient for this version
for the spot view can you implement it as the flyby module

frankly i find that fsrecorder and fsuipc are the best modules ever made for flight simulator

so keep this great work and thanks very much for your work

I can't promise anything, but currently I expect the first beta to be ready in one to two months.

I recently implemented that, comes together with text display and sound playback. You will be able to set markers during recording and playback (can also be defined in text files for the converter). Every marker can be a chapter point, to which you can jump on playback, and it can trigger display of a text message, playback of a wave file or pause FS.

Many thanks for continuing to develop this program Matthias. The new features for 2.1 look interesting and the video recording is amazing, I hope you can get it to work as you want on most systems.

I use FS Recorder quite a lot for my own pleasure but to be able to capture as a video file would be great.

I hope this guy has not stolen your ideas and methods to create a payware product without your knowledge.

Good luck with progress when you get time.
