The final version of FS Recorder 2.1 is now available for download.

Changes since beta 3:
  • Fixed coordinate conversion bug in tower camera editing dialog (occurring only for coordinates between 0 and 1 degrees W or S)
  • Initialization change which seems to solve FSX startup problems on some systems
  • Some fixes regarding compatibility with later version .frc files

New features of version 2.1 are listed here.

Are the functions of 2.17a (rendering, etc.) included in the finished 2.1?

Does this version provide the ability to edit the .ini file to record additional FSX SDK variables, specifically "Rotation Velocity Body X", Y, and Z?

No, both rendering and custom variables are not in version 2.1, they are planned for version 2.2. The final 2.1 version has the same features as the 2.1 beta versions, only bugs have been fixed.
The 2.1x alpha versions are incomplete intermediate releases between versions 2.1 and 2.2.
Recording of custom and additional FSX variables will soon become available in the next alpha release.

Dear FS Recorder Forum,

I am new to the FS Recorder forum and have a couple of questions.

Can I use FS Recorder ver. 2.1 with my FSX Deluxe Edition with Acceleration?

Is there a manual I can review for FS Recorder?

Could you please email me the information to: pferrughelli@hotmail.com.

Thank You, Paul
