Incompatible .frc file

Postby keatles » 26 Aug 2010, 03:45

After recording a flight in FSX, it played back just fine, allowing change of views, fast forward, 1/2 speed etc.

When I tried to convert the file to text using frc2ascii.exe in command line mode, I got an error message stating that the "Input file is incompatible or corrupt." I tried the converter with several older recorded files and got the same result. I then got a friend to send me the original of a file he had managed to convert successfully, but no luck - same result.

I tried using the GUI add-ons, but still got the same error message.

My setup: Win 7 Pro 64-bit, and using FSRecorder 2.0 beta 4.

Anyone else had this problem?
Alan

The converter you're using is only for FS Recorder 1.3. For FS Recorder 2.0 there is a new converter, which is included in the package.
